Hello everyone, have been really busy enjoying my dad so I havent written in awhile. He had his last treatment on Nov 16th. The doctors were amazed on his progress, and how well his body has responded to the chemo. He had an appointment on Nov. 29th and his doctor was speechless. She said ” I don’t know what to do for you anymore George. ” They are going to continue the Avastin only for two more months every two weeks since he missed the first three treatments of Avastin because of his surgery. He will have another petscan three months from now. They also said that he can miss a treatment or two if he wants to go on vacation. It was a tough road but the family pulled together never really left him alone to ponder on the dreaded question he always asked himself “Why Me?” He eats organic everything, very little meat and is in better shape than he was before this whole ordeal. IT CAN BE DONE ! Keep your head high, fight tooth and nail, NEVER GIVE UP ! We never had any doubts he was not going to make it this far after they told us he has 7 months to live! The petscan in sept told us “There is no hypermetabolic activiy in his body ” Just amazing ! He has been Deer hunting in the cold every day in the cold these last two weeks of november. Ive been in the cabin before him almost everytime. He was rewarded on wed nov. 28th with a Nine point Buck ! He said to me that he will always remember that forever. Well everyone have a good holiday and always tell your loved ones you love them cause you dont know what tommorow brings.

What great news! So wonderful to hear from you guys. Felt like a long lost friend walked through the door. After reading your blog post today I went out and bought a juicer. Need to stay healthy. This is one way I hope to do that. Post a photo of the buck if you get a chance. Cheers!
